Visa Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles
Appointments for visa applications will be made via this website only and not via the telephone as before. If you do not have an appointment you cannot submit your visa request. Please report at the security officer at least 5 minutes before your appointment.

• Who needs to apply for a visa?
Holders of a Serbian passport need a visa for Aruba and the
Netherlands Antilles.
The following categories of people are exempted from the visa
requirement:
1. holders of a valid residence permit for the United States,
Canada or the Schengen area;
2. children under twelve years of age who are accompanied by
a parent or guardian;
3. captains, passengers or crew of ships or aircraft landing
in the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba for a consecutive period of
not more than 48 hours who do not constitute a threat to public
order or security in the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba;
4. aliens with a residence permit allowing them to stay in
Aruba for more than six months don’t need a visa for the
Netherlands Antilles;
5. passengers of cruise ships remaining on the islands for
less than 48 hours (N.A.) and 24 hours (Aruba);
6. people of certain nationalities carrying diplomatic or
service passports
• Validity of the visa
The short-stay tourist/business visa can be issued to a maximum of
30 days per visit. (Maximum 90 days per 12 months. The period of 12
months goes in effect the moment the applicant enters the
territory).
• Transit
For the Netherlands Antilles: If you are in transit and don’t leave
the transit room for more than 48 hours a visa is not needed.
For Aruba: Those continuing to a third country within 24 hours and
holding tickets with reserved seats and all documents required for
onward journey are exempt. Leaving the airport and overnight is not
allowed.
